The sale of a majority stake of Thillmann Architects, Koblenz has been signed and closed on 23rd May, 2018. Löbbecke & Cie. were exclusively mandated by the owner Michael Thillmann to manage the sales process including the approach of potential investors in Germany as well as other European countries, the preparation of an information memorandum, a limited auction, price negotiation, coordination of legal and tax advisor and coordination of the due dilligence process.

Thillmann Architects, Koblenz, is a family-owned office with about 30 employees. They contribute beside the specific architectural know-how also Building Information Modelling (BIM) know-how to the new group.

The owner Michael Thillmann (60) has also realised an optimal solution for the further development of his architects office. An internal successor has also been identified with his son Fabian Thillmann, who is foreseen to become Managing Director in the medium term.
